Duane Dice

1940-2008

We are sorry to announce the passing of
Duane Dice
on Tuesday, August 27, 7 pm,
in Redwood City, CA.

Duane has been active in our church and community for twenty years, since his arrival from San Francisco. His experience as an engineer with Bechtel made him great help with local projects like OMNI, advising the Angwin Water Company, Napa County committees and various PUC needs.

The immediate cause of death was the experience of three brain aneurysms on Monday evening. He has been fighting a serious infection for some weeks that has been causing little strokes and bleeds in his extremities, and has been undergoing treatment. Duane made the comment two weeks ago, "Either the antibiotics will kill the infection or the infection will kill me." Duane looked much improved in church last Sabbath, so this week's developments caught all by surprise.

Duane is survived by his wife Annelise, adult sons Adrian and Austin, his father, Kenneth, and sister Janet Ivey.

We will keep the church family informed when a service time is selected.
